Western Outdoors was created to be a hub for hunting big game in the west. Our founders, located in Utah and Wyoming, spend countless hours each season working through the applications, scouting, and hunting trips to many of the western states.  We've learned that being prepared for that final shot comes months and years before the actual hunt starts. That preparation includes everything from knowing what hunts to apply for, to being physically and mentally fit, to having the skills and gear needed to put a tag on a trophy animal.  We can help break this preparation down into easily attainable parts so you can go into the field with an advantage. 

We will feature your hunting stories and photos on the site.  We offer galleries and forums where you can post your photos, videos and share your latest stories.  Our forums are a great place to find information on everything from specific hunting units to the latest gear.  We will feature gear reviews and field tests on the best gear available.  We know the importance of getting unbiased opinions from fellow hunters.  If those products don't live up to their claims, we'll tell you. 

The core of our hunting is done "do-it-yourself" on public land.  We've recently begun filming our hunts and plan to share them on this site.  We plan to build and develop the site around your interests, please let us know what you think.  Take a minute and join the community and help us spread the word about the new site.
